Note: Slow Beam Cannon and Cat Base upgrades are both at level 10. Everything here replicates the max tools we had when Floor 30 was released. I’ve technically done pre-powercreep in the past on my very first clear of F30 in the old days so this was just me having some more fun. Because of that this run only took me about 2 hours of practice which I think is pretty fast. I won’t explain full strat since everyone has their own approach to this stage, but my playstyle here went with a more aggressive approach with trying to spawn Swimmer and Baha as soon as they are off cooldown. I would also spawn Musashi at every available interval but only if the current Musashi is close to the base or hasn’t been hit much, otherwise I’d keep it for an emergency cycle. For calculating Hermit knockback, usually 3~4 swimmers alongside Musashi is enough to bring him down to either Baha chain or pull back with the Mohawk timings. For funsies, if I had to rank the difficulty of pre-powercreep Floor 30 in comparison to modern times then this would probably be the second hardest stage in the game behind Villainous Gods. I highly recommend everyone to play the stage with as little powercreep as possible.
